Gannett Fleming’s Environmental Services Business Line is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Historian with the desire to expand their skill set into Environmental Planning practice. You will provide technical expertise across a diverse client base for a variety of assignments based out of our Raleigh, NC office.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects requiring planning, environmental analysis, and documentation in accordance with NEPA and permitting, while growing an architectural history practice and growing professionally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the overall execution of projects in the public sector across a variety of markets and sectors. Specific focus consists of interpretation of federal, state and local agency regulations; planning and executing analysis consistent with historic preservation principals and regulations; planning and executing analysis of a wide range of environmental resources in both the natural and social environments; and preparation of work products including documents that meet the requirements of the NEPA, supporting technical reports, and permit applications.
