Resident Engineer - Highway Transportation

We are seeking a Resident Engineer for upcoming large highway and transportation projects throughout New Jersey. In this role, you’ll lead critical construction efforts, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while working on transformative infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the construction management of the project
• The maintenance of construction project records
• Interaction with the client and with inspection staff on various facets of the project including but not limited to: contract change orders, item payments, and material testing
• Conducting project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
• Preparing monthly progress reports

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering
• Professional Engineering License in New Jersey
• Prior Experience as Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer
• Prior experience with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority or NJDOT
• Airport experience is preferred
• Rutgers TCC, NJSAT, ACI certifications all desirable
