Sourcing Specialist responsibilities include searching social networks and portfolio sites to identify potential candidates, launching digital recruiting campaigns and organizing an effective employee referral system. To be successful in this role, you should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future staffing needs.
 
• Build, maintain, and nurture passive candidate pipelines and identify future opportunities that align with their experiences and interests.
• Use a variety of sourcing tactics and storytelling to discover and attract a diverse talent pool.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist to develop and execute on creative sourcing strategies.
• Assist TA Specialists in providing the best candidate experiences.
• Bring industry trends, marketplace insights and competitive intelligence to help iterate our sourcing and recruiting strategies.
• Provide input to talent branding for social media recruiting and other internal/external marketing initiatives.
• Master sourcing tools and platforms to include Applicant Tracking System (ATS), CRM, LinkedIn, Professional Associations and other similar sourcing platforms
• Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates
• Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
• Collaborate with TA Specialist to identify each position’s requirements
• Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates using various platforms to include CRM and ATS
• Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
• Contact past applicants for new job opportunities
Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
• Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
• Measure and report on sourcing metrics and analytics 
• Develop and foster long-term relationships with design and engineering professionals
• Source potential candidates through various channels, including cold calling, LinkedIn, social media, and industry networking events.
• Stay abreast of trends and changes in the AEC industry, providing valuable insights to both candidates and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelors Degree in Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced level experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
• Hands on experience with CRM Tool such as Phenom or GEM to execute outreach campaigns
• 2 plus years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, organizational psychology, design or engineering consulting, or a related field.
• Display exemplary communication capabilities, effectively communicating verbally and through writing.
• Proven success identifying and engaging external talent in the AEC industry in a fast-paced, high-volume sourcing role
• Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering with a sense of urgency and service
• Commitment to continuous improvement of our processes
• Ability to execute on a recruiting strategy by sourcing & engaging passive candidates
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Terrific networking skills, preferably with an extensive network already in place
• Steadfast aim to seek and connect with the most exciting talent in the market
• Self-motivation, strong time management, and organizational skills
• Remote (EST time zone.)
• Experience sourcing or recruiting for niche roles in the AEC Industry is required.
• Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
• Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
• This position is focused on sourcing talent and is not a full-cycle recruiter role
