GFT is seeking a C&I and Renewables Program Manager to join our Power Delivery Practice in St. Louis, MO! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our St. Louis office.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

In this role, you will need to be a motivated leader with a positive attitude to serve C&I and Renewable clients, lead diverse design teams, and drive quality production and prompt project delivery. At a high level, this role will require someone with a track record of effective leadership and exceptional communication skills, capable of mentoring project teams, fostering collaboration with and inclusive approach to leadership.

 


In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead programs, projects, and teams to serve clients with the aim of deepening our relationships within the C&I and Renewable Markets
  • Actively marketing and performing outreach to key clients, industry organizations and other consulting firms.
  • Lead and assist with the marketing pursuit of projects including nurturing and developing relationships with the client organization, providing leadership and input in the development of proposals.
  • Regularly attend regional conferences, meetings, and industry events to stay informed on trends and deepen key relations
  • Serve as the primary contact with clients on key projects.
  • Grow office presence and staff.  
  • Leading through example by driving high-quality production of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, estimates, and more.
  • Generate project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure that project quality requirements are followed.
  • Travel and lead teams on site visits as required for projects.
  • Research and become familiar with client requirements including program, guidelines, and standards.
  • Lead projects from cradle to grave, starting from initial survey, through design, and through construction.
  • Lead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project goals and concepts.
  • Lead development of technical details including coordination with engineering disciplines.
  • Coordinate work of all disciplines.
  • Supervise preparation of project deliverables including specifications and reports
  • Supervise the review of shop drawings and construction RFIs.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor emerging design staff.
  • Lead and/or assist with the preparation of proposals responding to RFQ’s, RFP’s and other solicitations.

 

What you will bring to our firm:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 15 plus years' experience conceptualizing and delivering projects

  • Familiarity with C&I and Renewable project types and requirements
  • Familiarity with software such as BlueBeam Revu, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written
  • Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects
  • Advance level knowledge of industry standards and codes
  • Organized individual with a positive team building spirit with a collaborative one team attitude. 
 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $155,000 - $195,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
