GFT is seeking a Grants & Funding, Project Manager to join our Water Business Line in Marlton, NJ.  This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Marlton office.
 
Joining GFT's Water Business Line means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. Our team excels in dams and levees, advanced water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and conveyance, collection, and transmission. With a focus on integrating technology, sustainability, and compliance, we consider each water resources and environmental remediation project a chance to innovate and evolve to protect public health and enhance quality of life. 
 
What you’ll be challenged to do:
As a Grant & Funding, Project Manager you will utilize your technical expertise and knowledge of state, federal, and philanthropic programs, and funding streams to lead and oversee the execution of resilience planning and climate adaptation projects in Florida. Project examples include vulnerability assessments, exposure analysis, sensitivity analysis, and sea level rise studies. Your knowledge of project/program funding via HUD CDBG-DR/MIT, FEMA FMA/BRIC, EPA, NOAA, DOT, DOE et al. and other federal funding programs related to resilience, mitigation, sustainability, and climate adaptation is essential to this role.  
 
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 
• Project Delivery: Coordinating project teams to deliver quality, timely, and profitable projects. Implementing Gannett Fleming policies and processes for technical quality assurance/control across funding and program management-related services.
• Client Management: Building relationships with existing and new clients, support the establishment of opportunity pipelines, participating in pursuits, developing proposals and interviews, preparing and negotiating scopes, promoting cross-selling opportunities with support from other Gannett Fleming groups, managing full project life cycle, and delivering to expectations and budgets, to position for additional services.
• Identifying and building program management practices in support of client goals and enterprise growth.
• Supporting/leading Gannett Fleming ’ involvement in relevant conferences, inclusive of presenting or panel participation.
• Identifying and assisting with developing tools to ensure on-time delivery of required services.
• Supporting marketing and proposal activities, including integration of project delivery from planning to implementation phases.
• Ability to travel (up to 25%) within the state to meet with clients/potential clients; ability to travel outside of the state to meet with national team members, attend conferences, etc.

What you will bring to our firm: 
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 8-10 years of experience focused on climate adaptation, hazard mitigation, government affairs, grant management, economics, finance, master planning, emergency management/disaster recovery, community development, and/or urban planning
 
What we prefer you bring: 
• Master’s or advanced degree in a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., AICP, PE, AIA, CFM, etc.)
• Understanding/experience working with flood modeling and GIS tools
• Experience with conducting benefit-cost analysis
• Knowledge of funding availability and mechanisms via the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and Inflation Reduction Jobs Act (IRJA)
 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
