We are seeking a Senior Sales Analyst to join our Growth Office team at GFT. This position can be based out of Denver, Phoenix, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio or Austin!

This role is integral to supporting our business development operations by providing critical insights and analysis of sales performance, pipeline health, bookings, and wins. The ideal candidate will partner closely with leadership to translate business development data into actionable intelligence that fuels strategic decision-making and drives growth. You will also be part of a cross-functional analysis team between business development, finance, and IT to develop and refine corporate business intelligence reporting and analyze relevant data.

GFT Strategic Services team, which includes Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services and Business Development and Marketing, are essential for managing and supporting the company's global operations. Strategic Services are part of a broader strategy to transform the business and improve efficiency. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

 

Sales Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute regular dashboards and performance reports related to sales performance, pipeline, bookings, wins/losses, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Deliver executive-level insights on business trends and opportunities based on historical and current sales data. Assist in crafting the data story and actions for presentation.
  • Leverage raw, unorganized data into actional insights to identify gaps and trends, improve sales effectiveness, and drive revenue growth in a client-account based sales model.
  • Extract and synthesize data from multiple sources to effectively measure progress against KPIs.
  • Operationalizing all dashboards and performance reports with periodic presentations of tools and reports, user acceptance testing, and usage analytics.

Pipeline Management

  • Monitor pipeline movement and health across key service lines, markets, regions, and client segmentation.
  • Proactively identify gaps, bottlenecks, or risks in achieving quarterly/annual revenue targets.

Opportunity & Win Analysis

  • Track and analyze win/loss data to uncover patterns and key performance drivers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis where appropriate to contextualize results.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business development, capture, and proposal teams to ensure accurate and timely opportunity data.
  • Work with IT/CRM administrators to optimize CRM platform, reporting tools, and data integrity.
  • Work with IT/CRM administrators to reduce barriers to entry and application simplification supporting data collection.
  • Partner with external consultants to support data alignment as needed.
  • Proactively identify data discrepancies and work with stakeholders and IT/CRM administrators to correct data. Partner with leadership, operations, and client service teams to validate efficiency and usability of reports and dashboards.

Forecasting Support

  • Provide data-driven input to revenue forecasts, including scenario modeling and quarterly outlooks.
  • Provide data-driven input to support client planning and business planning processes.

Process Improvement

  • Recommend enhancements to data capture processes from all stakeholders and reporting frameworks.
  • Support standardizing metrics, definitions, and reporting templates to improve consistency and clarity.
  • Understand the company’s business development lifecycle, associated roles, processes, and tools/technology supporting the lifecycle; become fluent in our CRM system.
  • Support data transformation from acquired firms into our system(s)

What you will bring to our firm: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing analytics, data analysis or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence or strategy role for a firm with over $500M annual revenue
 What we prefer you bring: 
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Deltek, Microsoft).
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into concise, actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting Business Development, Sales, or Growth organizations—preferably in a consulting, engineering, or transportation environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience in the A/E/C Industry or with government/public sector contracts is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and project manage in functional team settings.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with all levels of management/leadership to create buy-in and implement process and tools.
 Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
