Senior Electrical Designer for GFT Infrastructure, Inc. to work at our Los Angeles, CA loc. May telecommute up to 4 days per week. Perform engineering calculations, technical studies + prepares plans + specifications for projects, including water + wastewater treatment facilities, manufacturing, commercial, federal, transportation + utility clients. Evaluate, select + apply standard design engineering techniques, procedures + criteria to meet client requirements. Draft simple reports + letters. Coordinate with project team to lay out full plan designs, plan details + outlines. Develop detailed design docs including drawings, specifications, quantities of materials, cost estimates + calculations for a segment of a project. Review design drawings for assigned segment of project. Evaluate vendor submissions to assure compliance w/ specifications. Perform investigations + measurements + collect field data. Coordinate efforts of other disciplines within company to complete projects. Provide assistance + support to proposal teams or proposal managers.  Little regional travel to visit client sites and attend meetings not exceeding 60 days/yr and 5 days/trip is involved. May undergo background checks incl drug screen and MV check. Salary $134,264 to $137,696 per year.

Must have Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field and 3 years exp in electrical infrastructure site and building electrical design. Also requires the following skills (3 yrs exp) in: working with National Electrical Code; Power Studies; AutoCAD; Building Information Modeling (BIM); Revit; AutoCAD MEP; and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Apply at careers.gftinc.com/us/en.

 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $134,264 to $137,696. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
