Senior Consultant - Hydraulics and Hydrology Engineer

GFT is looking for an Hourly / Part-Time / As Needed Senior Consultant – Hydraulics / Hydrology Engineering to join our Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team in Houston, Texas. This is a hybrid position and will require regular attendance at our Houston, Texas office.

What you’ll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated H&H Engineer who has a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project. 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• Assign individual work tasks and providing guidance to team members 

• Execution of QA / QC for Client Deliverables 

• Preparation of Design Development Documents and Reports, Design Plans and Technical Specifications 

• Direct and participate in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, storm sewer analysis, stormwater engineering design, drainage planning, and groundwater analyses. 

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses,  

• Analyze and interpret data and review written reports    

• Ability to interact with our clients and work on cross-functional teams 

• Assist with oversight of team members and client management. 

• Formulate and solve problems 

• Ensure that project documents are consistent with project plans and within project scope and budget

Employment Status: Hourly - As Needed
Salary Range: $120.00 - $130.00 per hour
Salary dependent upon experience and geographic location
