GFT is seeking a Director, Talent Management to join our Human Resources team in Mechanicsburg, PA! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Mechanicsburg, PA office.

 

What you’ll be challenged to do:

The Director of Talent Management will be responsible for designing, leading, and optimizing the organization’s talent management strategy across the full employee lifecycle. This highly visible role reports directly to the Chief People Officer and serves as a strategic partner to senior HR leaders, HR Business Partners, and business unit leaders to ensure the organization attracts, develops, engages, and retains top talent.

 

This role operates through influence, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership, working across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRBPs, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations. The Director will build unifying frameworks that connect and strengthen these functions, ensuring the talent lifecycle is integrated, optimized, and aligned with business priorities.

 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Lead the design and execution of an integrated talent management strategy, aligned with organizational priorities and business goals.
  • Serve as the connector across HR functions, ensuring that talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, succession planning, and retention are cohesive and mutually reinforcing.
  • Partner with the Director, HR Business Partners and business leaders to anticipate future workforce needs, identifying emerging skills gaps and building strategies to address them.
  • Partner with L&D and Compensation to define career frameworks and progression pathways and embed career mobility into succession and workforce planning.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for workforce planning, including scenario modeling and talent pipeline forecasting.
  • Administer engagement surveys and implement action plans to address feedback.
  • Shape the talent strategy to reinforce the company’s values, leadership expectations, and desired culture.
  • Partner with senior leaders to define and embed enterprise leadership competencies that guide hiring, promotions, and development.
  • Stay ahead of external market trends and evolving best practices in talent management.
  • Bring innovative ideas, tools, and approaches to strengthen employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational agility.
  • Drive enterprise-wide succession planning, ensuring pipelines for critical roles are identified, supported, and developed.
  • Partner with Total Rewards and Employee Relations to align recognition, engagement, and retention strategies with organizational goals.
  • Use employee feedback and workforce analytics to strengthen the employee experience.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and thought partner to the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of talent programs

What you will bring to our firm: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on talent management, organizational effectiveness, or leadership development.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level talent initiatives across multiple HR functions.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills with the ability to lead through others without direct authority.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate business goals into talent strategies.
  • Proficiency with HR technology and workforce analytics.
  • A connector and integrator across HR functions.
  • A strategic partner with strong enterprise perspective.
  • Skilled at leading through influence and collaboration.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.
 
What we prefer you bring: 
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field
 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $141,000 - $185,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
