GFT is seeking a Sr. Project Manager / Technical Lead - Rail to join our Practice or CBG Team in our Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE office! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Kansas City or Omaha office.

What you’ll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Sr. Project Manager / Technical Lead - Rail who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role highlights a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project. 

 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Managing contracts, budget, schedule, client communications, and project delivery.
  • Internal team organization and communication for project delivery, sharing knowledge, mentoring, and supporting career growth of team members.
  • Working with internal team members across offices (including project partners within OM and KC offices, could also be OK/Berkeley office, Chicago office, Atlanta office, Boston office for civil- structural-rail, arch team partners; and with KC/ PNW offices/Ebensburg for MEP partners)
  • Client relationships, sharing information with Client Service Teams and groups on upcoming project intel, client needs, support team in pursuits when needed.
  • Participation in internal knowledge base sharing via Practice Communities, proactively identifying and working with colleagues on efficiency of delivery, quality of delivery.

What you will bring to our firm: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 20 years of professional experience within the A/E/C space.
  • 15 years of Project Management experience, specifically within the Freigh/Rail space.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
