GFT is seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA! This position may be performed remotely; however, occasional attendance at our Mechanicsburg, PA office is required.

The GFT Shared Service Services team, which includes Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services and Marketing & Communications, are essential for managing and supporting the company's global operations. What you’ll be challenged to do:

Completes compensation analyses to evaluate and grade jobs. Acts as a trusted advisor to provide support to HR across all entities on compensation related matters. Supports developing and implementing approved policies, procedures, practices, and other tools for administering the compensation program. Works on special projects, achieving timeline milestones as assigned.

 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Independently completes complex-to-advanced compensation analyses.
  • Supports the administration and management of annual compensation processes of merit and salary review cycles.
  • Performs advanced analysis to support annual processes and reviews including geo zones, salary structure, and market pricing within pricing tools.
  • Works with HR counterparts on compensation data requests, reporting, data integrity, and updating processes and practices.
  • Collaborates and guides HR Business Partners on questions regarding established compensation programs and processes.
  • Understands requests, researches solutions, and provides tailored responses or recommendations.
  • Participates and contributes to compensation projects, such as job architecture development, and maintenance.
  • Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the company provides competitive and reasonable compensation structures.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation administration.
  • Mentors junior team member.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will bring to our firm: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related disciple.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in human resources, compensation, analytics.
  • Microsoft office, i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel (advanced: v-lookups, formulas, pivots), and PowerPoint.
 
What we prefer you bring: 
  • CCP/PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • Previous experience within the AEC industry.
 
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
