GFT is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Document Control to join our Project Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance in our office in New York, NY.

As an Administrative Assistant / Document Control Clerk, you will support the Project Team by preparing, proofreading, organizing, and maintaining project documentation. You will apply your experience in administrative and document control functions within a construction or construction management environment while using Microsoft Office programs to support project operations.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree from an accredited college preferred
3 years of experience as an administrative assistant or document control clerk within a construction management or construction organization
OR a technical degree with at least one (1) year of related experience in a construction management or construction environment
Working knowledge of computer software systems, including Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong communication skills
Experience with document management systems such as eBuilder preferred
Ability to work in a field office environment and support a collaborative project team
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $57,000 per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
