GFT is seeking an accomplished and highly strategic Regional Sales Leader to accelerate growth, strengthen key client relationships, and expand the reach of our multidisciplinary capabilities across priority markets and geographies.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this highly visible leader will serve as an outward-facing market champion and a primary representative of GFT with strategic clients and industry partners. Working across Business Groups, markets, and service areas, the Regional Sales Leader will connect client needs with the full breadth of GFT's expertise—creating opportunities to deepen relationships, diversify services, enter new markets, and position the firm for significant programs and projects.

This opportunity is ideally suited for an established growth leader who combines market intelligence, strategic client development, business acumen, and a collaborative leadership style. You'll help determine where GFT should compete, strengthen how we position and pursue opportunities, and bring together the right people and capabilities to turn strategy into sustainable growth.

What You'll Be Challenged to Do

  • Develop market assessments and growth strategies for assigned clients, markets, and geographies, evaluating market forces, client funding, competitive dynamics, emerging opportunities, and other factors influencing GFT's growth strategy.
  • Develop and execute strategic market and client plans in collaboration with Business Group leadership, Client Account Managers, and other leaders across GFT.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with strategic clients, developing a deep understanding of their priorities and connecting those needs with GFT's capabilities, expertise, and differentiated services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand key accounts, introduce new services, and increase collaboration across GFT's businesses, markets, and geographies.
  • Lead positioning and capture strategy for major pursuits, identifying critical opportunities, strategic teaming partners, competitive differentiators, and factors necessary to improve GFT's probability of success.
  • Participate in strategic go/no-go decisions and help prioritize investments and resources around the clients and opportunities most aligned with GFT's growth objectives.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with consultants, business partners, and other organizations that enhance GFT's capabilities and competitive position.
  • Serve as a senior advisor on key client and project matters, helping teams resolve client-service challenges, strengthen relationships, and support negotiations for strategic opportunities when appropriate.
  • Champion a One GFT approach to growth by connecting people and capabilities across Business Groups and facilitating cross-business strategies that bring greater value to clients.
  • Represent GFT at strategic client meetings, conferences, professional organizations, and industry events, strengthening the firm's visibility and relationships in priority markets.
  • Monitor market and client performance using metrics such as backlog growth, capture rates, cross-selling, client satisfaction, account-plan execution, and sales performance to evaluate progress and inform future strategy.
  • Mentor Client Account Managers and other growth leaders, strengthening GFT's client-development capabilities and helping identify talent needed to support strategic growth.

What You Will Bring to Our Firm

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Business, or another relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in sales, growth, client development, business development, or related professional-services leadership. Additional relevant education may be considered toward the experience requirement.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing market growth, go-to-market, client, or geographic expansion strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted executive-level client relationships, expand strategic accounts, and generate sustainable business growth.
  • Significant experience leading major pursuits, including client positioning, capture strategy, teaming, proposal development, and commercial or contract negotiations.
  • Strong business and market acumen with demonstrated ability to interpret client intelligence, competitive dynamics, funding environments, market trends, and business-performance data.
  • Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and bring together multidisciplinary teams around common client and growth objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop client account, business development, or growth professionals.
  • High standards of integrity, accountability, professional judgment, and client service.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, pursuits, conferences, and industry events, including occasional evening or weekend commitments.
