Responsibilities

Gannett Fleming, Inc. seeks a Practice Leader, Infrastructure Management Systems, with 15+ years’ experience, in our Business and Technology Consulting services business line. This position is a national role and the office location is flexible provided it is in one of our larger offices to include, New York, Northern or Southern New Jersey, DC Metro Area, Philadelphia, Orlando, Los Angeles or San Francisco. 

We are seeking a Practice Leader to grow our Infrastructure Management Systems consulting services business.  This is a strategic role providing high value services to our clients. A high energy, self-starter you will have a passion for enabling infrastructure owners and service providers to realize the business benefits from Infrastructure Management Systems measured by reduced risk, improved reliability, and increased value for infrastructure owners.

 

You will be deeply knowledgeable about the information systems used to manage and operate infrastructure. You will bring demonstrated experience with the leading Enterprise Asset Management information systems in the infrastructure sector in North America. Of particular value is experience in the transportation sector. While understanding the technical context and change environment, you will understand the potential for new technology-enabled business practices. With both feet firmly planted on today’s ground you know what the future entails in the infrastructure sector given the rapidly falling costs of monitoring systems, machine to machine communications, and the drive toward data-driven decision-making. 

 

You will have the knowledge and experience to successfully run complex technology transformation projects from business case and business design through to solution identification, software package selection and to support implementation.  Your focus will be on applying our infrastructure management domain knowledge so that business benefits are realized. Examples of the types of projects include asset information systems planning, asset data integration, business and data architecture, procurement support, analytics, condition Inspection and monitoring systems.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Economics or related discipline
  • 15+ years of professional experience in technology management in the infrastructure sector.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure data - 10+ years’ experience with infrastructure inventory and condition data capture, data quality, and data integration
  • 10+ years’ experience with condition inspection technologies and asset management information systems used in the transportation sector
  • Proven success in business development and staff management and development is critical as is effective
  • Transportation sector experience a plus
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels within a client organization.
