Construction inspectors needed for environmental restoration projects in Anne Arundel, Montgomery & Prince George Counties, MD including stormwater retrofits and stream restoration.
Most days the inspector will report directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor’s work confirms to contract requirements. Most construction activity will be related to stormwater management ponds, best management practices (BMPs), stormwater outfalls, and streams. Will work outdoors year round some times in difficult weather conditions. Will communicate daily with the contractor and the Construction Manager, take photos, complete daily reports, and participate in meetings with the client.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience level.
Prerequisite: high school degree, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to travel to job sites, AA degree in environmental or similar discipline preferred but not required.
Experience: minimum of 3 years in construction, inspection or engineering/consulting
