Our Los Angeles Office is looking for a talented MEP Design Technician to come join our growing MEP team!!! Successful candidates will possess 2-5 years of experience with Revit, AutoCAD MEP or other related BIM software in the MEP industry. Design experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing/pipe as it relates to building services in areas such as higher education, government and other public sector projects. Responsibilities will include

  • Collaborating with the project teams with the generation of various BIM deliverables to clients, including modeling and detailing for project documents
  • Assisting project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.
  • Adhere to project execution plans and workflow criteria



  • Associates / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in Revit/AutoCAD MEP/AutoCAD or equivalent BIM software. Preference will be given to candidates Revit experience and certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced modeling/design functions , and knowledge of BIM workflows
  • Strong understanding of Architectural and Structural backgrounds and models for coordination with MEP.
  • Capable to sizing/layout of HVAC distribution, piping, lighting, power distribution and/or plumbing.
  • Hands on experience generating families for equipment, fixtures and other necessary components as required for the project.
  • Ability to manage and update design model and backgrounds regularly. Capable of troubleshooting issues with BIM models.
  • Effective communicator and problem solver capable of working in a project team.
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Capable of coordinating across multiple disciplines with internal and external partners.
  • Proven ability to develop high quality deliverable documents.
  • Experienced in running clash detection and maintaining high quality drawings throughout the course of project. Navisworks skills a plus.
  • Mentoring, learning and sharing of work knowledge for the benefit of the team.
