    What You Will Do


    We are looking for a Contract Support Specialist in Fort Lauderdale / West Palm Beach.


    The candidate will be responsible for maintenance of construction project records in accordance with FDOT procedures, interface with the Owner, Contractor, and inspection staff on various facets of the project including review of contract plans and documents and review of contractors’ submittals and recordings. Perform/oversee project documentation for the Monthly contractor payments and Final Estimate.  Respondents should have intimate working knowledge of FDOT and possess all the necessary qualifications/certifications. The candidate may have to perform general administration duties such as office administration, manage project/company meetings, manage database etc.


    The candidate should exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project. Should be familiar with the Department’s Procedures covering the project related duties as stated above and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties. The candidate should become proficient in Multi-Line and Engineering Menu.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A High School diploma or equivalent
    • Must possess previous working experience on FDOT projects.
    • Four (4) years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., LIMS / MAC, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.) or a Civil Engineering Degree.
    • CTQP: Final Estimates Level 1 and 2.
