Responsibilities

Our Bridge Group in our Denver, Colorado office is seeking a dynamic entry-level Bridge EngineerCome join our journey!

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering design tasks for bridge projects from preliminary to final design
  • Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
  • Interact with Gannett Fleming project teams
  • Complete tasks with multi-disciplined teams
  • Prepare reports required by the project development process
  • Prepare plans required for the construction of projects
  • Perform bridge inspections

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master's Degree is preferred
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Previous co-op or internship experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design standards
  • Prior experience with Colorado Department of Transportation projects highly desired
  • Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design Software (MicroStation) preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience using AutoCAD is as plus
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills required
  • Knowledge of and experience with project delivery and scheduling highly desired
  • Must be self-motivated
