Responsibilities

Gannett Fleming is looking for an Area Manager of Compliance and Remediation to lead the Northeast Region. The successful candidate should have a specialized practice area in a related market with well- established connections in the Northeast region a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects for key environmental clients, and can actively engage others in business development and support the growth of our environmental practice.

 

As Area Manager, you will lead the growth of profitable business by capitalizing on existing relationships and by generating new business based on your own network. You will be a key member of our Northeast regional team to drive growth of our Environmental Compliance and Remediation line of business. In addition to engaging at the local level, you will also have opportunities to contribute at the national and global level. You will work with senior leaders in the company and collaborate with other practice leaders and market segment leaders to further develop our services. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in EHS related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a science related field)
  • 12+ years progressive work history(5+ years in a management role), and thorough knowledge of the consulting A/E industry.
  • Technical expertise environmental compliance and remediation.
  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LRSP) strongly preferred
  • Professional Engineer License is preferred
  • Possess strong client relationships in the Northeast Region in both the public and private sectors, a proven history of business growth, proven project management experience, and exemplary people development and leadership abilities.
  • Collaborative leader capable of leveraging existing relationships in the private sector and familiarity with state regulators to cultivate diverse client mix throughout the Northeast region.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a teams 
  • Past experience with design build projects is strongly preferred
