Our Transportation Practice is currently seeking a Bridge Practice Leader to work in our New York office. This position represents an excellent opportunity for a talented engineering professional with a passion for assuming new challenges and winning.
As Bridge Practice Lead you will be responsible for:
Successful candidates will have 20 plus years of progressive technical and management experience and up to the challenge of further developing the New York branch of Gannett Fleming’s award winning Bridge Practice. Applicants should be a professional engineer with a strong track record of success in leadership and business management. Strong and diverse technical experience and project management in Bridge Engineering is required in addition to well developed and proven skills in the marketing of professional engineering services and client management. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, while working with a wide variety of engineers, designers, technical and support staff. Proven ability to effectively manage projects, administer contracts and control budgets, playing a key role developing the project budget and schedule, and ensuring these are adhered to. Applicants should be entrepreneurial in spirit with the ability to plan strategically. Preference will be given to applicants with direct experience and relationships in the New York market.
