    What You Will Do


    Gannett Fleming is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI)to join our growing Construction Management and Inspection Group for projects located in District 5 (Greater Reading) Pennsylvania.  Project assignments include Heavy Highway, Bridge and Transit disciplines. Experience with PennDOT and other Federal, State and County projects is preferred for these exciting construction inspection opportunities.


    Working under the direction of a Construction Manager/Project Manager, the TCI (Transportation Construction Inspector) will be responsible for the review of plans, documentation of work activities as well as quantity calculations and inspection of work in conformance with approved plans and specifications. 

    Minimum Qualifications


    The TCI (Transportation Construction Inspector) must have a valid driver’s license, High School Diploma and one of the following:


    One (1) year minimum PennDOT experience as a Technical Assistant 2 (TA-2).
    Two (2) years of transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience.
    Four (4) years of highway or bridge construction, non-highway or bridge inspection, or highway or bridge design experience.
    Possess a Transportation Technology Construction Inspection certification received through an accredited Technology program approved by the Department.


    Holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree or closely related engineering
