    What You Will Do

     

    Resident Engineer – Infrastructure Projects (non transportation) - Greater New York City area

     

    The Resident Engineer (“RE”) will manage the daily observation of the contractor operations for Infrastructure projects through out ther greater New York City area. These projects will most likely be for NYC and NYS agencies. 

     

     

     

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
    • NYS PE License
    • OSHA 10 Hour Certification.
    • ACI Certification is a plus.
    • Past experience working on storm and sanitary sewers, water mains and street restoration.
    • Past experience working with NYC Agencies.such as NYC DOT, NYS DOT, NYS TA, NYC DDC and NYC EDC.
    • Ability to supervise inspection staff.
    • Ability to review shop drawings, contractor schedules, permit and inspection requirements.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    • NICET IV Certification
    • Strong time management and attention to detail
