    What You Will Do


    Gannett Fleming is looking for a highly motivated individual familiar with the New Jersey market, capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple disciplines. This role represents a unique opportunity for career development and growth through exciting projects and support from a large and proven organization. Day to day tasks may include participating in client meetings, proposal development, project/task management, and mentoring less experienced staff. Typical projects include site work, facility MEP alterations or additions, utility relocations, building additions, renovations and modifications for public and private clients.



    • Full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, and quality control on multiple, concurrent projects
    • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of design team to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
    • Forecasting, accruing, and invoicing clients in accordance with contract requirements
    • Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and clients
    • Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff
    • Assist with business development activities including pursuit identification, teaming and capture management.
    • Initiates, contributes to, and reviews proposals
    • Participates in interviews and presentations as applicable

    Minimum Qualifications


    • A Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required
    • Must be a Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer. Consideration will be given to candidates with the ability to secure licensure within 6 months of employment.
    • Preference will be given to candidates holding CSEP, PMP, ENV SP, and LEED AP credentials
    • Familiarity with NJ Public Bid Law requirements and professional services contracts.
    • Must have 12 -20 years of progressively responsible experience in design and construction of multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Leader and team player possessing strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation.
    • Must have the ability to thrive in a team environment.
    • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Project
    • Must be able to drive and participate in visits to construction sites
