Our Water Business Line is currently looking for summer interns in the following locations:

• Irvine, CA

Our projects include study, design, bid and construction phase services for water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades; pipeline and pumping stations; stormwater infrastructures; hydraulic modeling; safe yield investigations; and preparation of various regulatory agency permit applications.

Under direction of experienced water, wastewater, and stormwater engineers, you will assist with a variety of system engineering assignments, including:

• Field data collection
• Data analysis
• Report writing
• Hydraulic modeling
• Permitting
• Research and evaluation of various topics, processes, and equipment
• Preliminary facilities design
• Cost estimating
• Financial analyses
• Client interaction

Minimum Qualifications 

• Degree program:  BS or MS Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Cumulative GPA:  3.0 or higher
• Current Status:  Junior or above
• Applicable Course Work including but not limited to water, wastewater, hydraulics, chemistry, etc.
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Detail oriented team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physically able to perform work in the field
• Proficiency in BIM, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred
